One of my first tasks as Franchise Lead when I was hired in 2021 was to create a commemorative coin based on our IP The Dragon Prince. This was to be gifted to the team at our holiday party and remain a celebratory item for us to give to partners, investors and collaborators.

I was first tasked with designing the coin, and utilized my illustration skills to create unique art of Runaan, a character famously trapped within a coin in-series, and Avizandum, the Dragon King who haunts the narrative from Season 1 onwards. I then found and directed a company to fabricate the coin, including a hand-carved clay model, and execute its minting in silver.

One of the highlights of this early task was that this specific design of Runaan's coin was later implemented in-series.
