One of the most exciting contributions to Teamfight Tactics Set 16 was helping create the Lorefinder, the first Around Game Experience built specifically for TFT. Acting as a “pokedex” for the set, the Lorefinder helps players navigate the huge range of champions, traits, and lore moments available. Collaborating closely with Product, my goal was to create a visually illustration focused experience that did not overshadow gameplay, but felt like it's own segment that encouraged the player to linger. The cherry on top was the sense of accomplishment when unlocking each champion, including a hand drawn crown asset, glow effect and an unrolling ribbon illustration.
