One of my final projects as Franchise Lead at Wonderstorm was designing the jacket for our vinyl as published by Lakeside Records. Pulling inspiration from a variety of anime record sleeves, I wanted to create a unique visual experience for this item; something that would catch the eye while on display yet feel special to even the most passionate fan.

Pulling from our underutilized character assets, these images of Claudia and Callum were initially designed as parallels but really emphasized their harsh divide in the most recent seasons. I hand illustrated additional lightning bolts and pink flames to round out the images and build the energy between the front and back covers. For the vinyl itself, I took the unique elements I created for the cover and customized them once more for the round cut-out so that the experience even while handling the record itself felt unique to the sleeve.
