Wonderstorm's 2nd graphic novel with Scholastic focused on young Rayla connecting with Ethari and Runaan in the wake of her parents taking on a duty-bound mission. As Franchise Lead, one of my favorite things to do was identify opportunities to canonize new lore about the world of Xadia, specifically our various elves and human kingdoms. Within this tale surrounding our community's favorite elf and her adopted dads, we got to share a little bit more about Moonshadow culture with our community.

Across all partnership projects with Scholastic, I led the creative process across writing, illustration, and publishing; selecting the creative team, guiding story development, reviewing scripts and page layouts, and ensuring the book remained fully aligned with the lore of Xadia. Leveraging my illustration background, I worked closely with our artist to refine panel composition and visual storytelling while maintaining franchise continuity. I also served as the primary partner to Scholastic, directing cover development, title design, and marketing alignment through release.
